Nicola Lebon
Ceramicist
Nicola Lebon is a ceramic artist and painter living and working in Margate, Kent. Lebon favours working with coloured clays as this allows much of her work to be unglazed, leaving a velvety matt finish.
Inspired by all things mythological and artefacts from the ancient world, Lebon creates creatures and spirts from her imagination. Her works include tree spirits inspired by Aokigahara forest in Japan and more recently, creatures and mystic sticks inspired by the Amazon jungle.
Self-taught Lebon has been exhibiting in London and the South East for the last twenty years.
