Amy Stringer is an Independent Contemporary Designer Maker who is originally from Brighton, but grew up in Leeds and moved to Sheffield in 2012 to complete a BA (Hons) in Jewellery and Metalwork at Sheffield Hallam University, and is now a studio holder at Bank Street Arts.
Inspired by architecture throughout the country and especially Sheffield’s inner city combination of modern, industrial architecture and large green spaces, Amy’s unique designs combine cement with striking silver work and elements of nature such as moss and lichen.
